So the rumor mill is alive and well. Last update I got from Dave is that our film made it to the final three but that it isn't looking good right now. Our category only gives out first place and so in fine Allison Renander form that could only make is first or second loser. But they haven't sent us an official e-mail saying that we didn't get it, and those are being sent out right now and have been recieved by other people in other catagories; so the internal optimist says that they haven't made final judgments on our category yet, so who knows.
Either way we made it pretty far, and we still have the student Oscers to submit to. And this dude that Dave knows who works/worked for the Canne Film Festival said that they would dig our movie over there. So who knows? We might be going to France sometime in the future. I have no expectations, so whatever happens is pretty much icing on the cake. Since I did get to fly to florida and make a musical about a penguin with one of my best friends. What more could a boy want from life?
