Elevators

This city has a lot of tall buildings. The nature of the downtown and the zoning means that the standard number of floors for an apartment building is in the high 30's or low 40's. So you pretty much spend a lot of time going up and down in elevators. This wouldn't be particularly interesting except that i have found that fairly regularly when you step into an elevator the thing will smell like the perfume isle at sears. Some times it is disgusting and sometimes it is intoxicating, but it is always unexpected. Stuff like this never happened in Eugene. Cody lived on the 11th floor of the lane tower. I've spent a lot of time in that elevator and it never smelled like any of these.

Apparently in the big city ladies smell nice
